Mr. Bradley

It seems like it's been a while since I've put some pictures of Bradley on here..so I just wanted to update everyone on what's been going on in Bradley's world. Last week he registered for Kindergarten..AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I can't believe it's come this fast.:) He is just so sweet and loving and innocent...I hope that never changes! We are starting our last few weeks of Preschool...it is at our house this week. Bradley has grown a lot since starting and has made some good friends.:) He is still singing all the time and has found a mini-me in Eanna..she does everything he does..it is so cute.:) He is a great big brother.:) We are so proud of him and love having him in our family!

This picture is for Mema..she gave him "lammy" and now he has to have him every night.:)

This is Kindergarten round-up day...he was very excited!!

Happy Birthday Breanna!!!

Today is Breanna's 2nd Birthday. So this post is dedicated to our little princess. I am so glad that she is part of our family.:) I can't believe it's been two years since she joined our family. We love our Eanna Beanna!!!

B is for a beautiful, sweet, precious little girl


R is for running to me when she's been at mema's or even just nursery..I love her hugs


E is for excitement over the little things in life like the moon and saying ta-da when her hand appears through her sleeve


A is for always smiling when we go pick up Bradley


N is for now..I try to remember every little thing right now..her laugh, the way she runs, her kisses, her little fingers and toes, the way she looks when she sleeps, everything...


N is for noticing I had an owie and giving it a kiss without me asking..she's a sweetie


A is for absolutely a mommy's girl.:) We are very much connected at the hip...I hope she always loves me this much!:)

Bluebonnets

We have a beautiful hill full of bluebonnets right across the street from our neighborhood so I took Breanna there today on her 2nd birthday to take pictures and I just wanted to share...

for Mema

Breanna was so excited this morning to recieve a package from Mema and Papa! I can't believe she will be two in three days! This post is for my Mom so she could see little Eanna opening up her present!:) We love you Mema!!

I delight in...

My Mom issued this challenge--Sister Tanner in general conference gave a talk on the things that she delighted in. Complete the following statement with 20 different things: I delight in _____________________. :)

1.I delight in watching my kids laugh.
2. I delight in watching Bradley and Eanna loving each other.
3. I delight in the kids tackling Mike and them saving me when he's got me pinned in a family wrestling match.
4. I delight in watching American Idol with my husband.

6. I delight in when my sunbeam class is excited to see me at church.
7. I delight in holding me little ones just a little longer.
8. I delight in going to the temple.
9. I delight in the beautiful sunsets here in Texas.
10. I delight in family vacations...they don't happen near enough...but I love any time when it's just Mike and me and the kids and no phones ringing!
11. I delight in a clean house...even though it seems like it is never all clean at one time...
12. I delight in my kids birthdays...I love making birthday cakes for them...Eanna's Birthday is next Monday and I can't wait!
13. I delight in singing...even though it's usually to my kids or in the car alone..I am not that good but I love to sing..
14. I delight in beating Mike at games..any game..board games, mario cart, horse...it doesn't happen very often but it makes me feel special.:)
15. I delight in being with my parents and sisters and brother...I love my family.:)
16. I delight in my husband's cooking.:)mmm
17. I delight in being outside watching my kids playing with all the neighborhood kids..we've got a great neighborhood.
18. I even delight in Mazi when she is being good and not chewing up something.
19. I delight in Bradley bringing me little yellow flowers every time he goes outside.:)
20. I delight in seeing Eanna walk on her tiptoes..and the way she runs..too cute.:)

I loved thinking of all the things that I delight in..I feel so blessed!:)

Rock Chalk JayHawk KU

So this post is all about Mike and me...I have been so blessed to have such a great man by my side.:) Last night his favorite college basketball team won the National Championship...He was so excited! We've taught our kids the KU war cry.."Rock Chalk Jay Hawk KU" Even Eanna says it the best she can! I hope you have fun learning a little more about Mike and me!

Here is a picture of the excitment last night..I think it was his dad on the phone.:)

1. How did you meet? Mike and I were in the same singles ward in Provo..my home teachers never came..so I complained to the Elder's quorum president which happened to be Mike Riches. So he came to home teach me which lead to him becoming one of my best friends and then boyfriend and then husband.:)

2. Our first date? We hung out a lot as friends but our first official date I asked him to a group date with all my roommates. It was a PJ date and we built a tent with blankets and watched the Newsies and had banana splits.

3. How long have we been together? we started dating around 6 years 7 months ago..we will celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary next month.

4. Who eats more? Mike

5. Who said 'I love you' first? We said I love you as friends..but I was the first to say I was in love with him..

6. Who is taller? Mike...by almost a foot!

7. Who sings better? Mike..he was in BYU men's chorus...but I love to sing:)

8. Who is smarter: Mike..he was one of those never study but still made straight A's..and his knowledge of the gospel and scriptures never ceases to impress me.:)

9. Who does the laundry? me..and it never ends

10. Who does the dishes? me again

11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? me..it's closest to the door that way there is less for me to trip over if the kids need me in the middle of the night.:)

12. Who mows? Mike when he can find the time...but before the end of the summer it will probably be a neighborhood kid.:)

13. Who cooks? As far as dinner it's about 50/50..I'm a lucky girl..Mike is a great cook and loves to cook.:)mmm

14. Who drives when we are together? it used to be more Mike but he scares me to much so I've been behind the wheel a lot more

15. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I think this is pretty even..we don't stay mad at each other long.:)

16. Whose parents do you see the most? It's been mine for most of our marriage but since moving to Dallas Mike's mom only lives 45 min. away so we've been seeing her more.

17. Who kissed who first? Mike kissed me first...but it was only after I had told him that I wished on a star that he would kiss me.


18. Who proposed? Mike...if you haven't seen the video you should.:)

19.Who has more siblings? I have more siblings with 5 sisters and 1 brother...but if you count all of Mike's steps he has more with 5 sisters and 3 brothers...

20. Who is more sensitive? Me hands down! I've only seen Mike cry maybe twice..it came really close to three times though last night when the JayHawks won the championship for the first time since Mike can remember! yea!

Mazi

My sister Amber wanted to see some updates of our little Mazi. She tries really hard to be a good dog.:) While the kids were gone to my mom's Mike and I taught Mazi to sit...we are working on stay now..sometimes she listens and sometimes she is really really excited and has a hard time concentrating.:) Here is a video of her new trick..she reacts much quicker when I have a treat in my hand instead of a camera.:)

Mike in OKC, Happy Belated Easter, and Playing in the Rain!

Well it has been a long time since I've updated..sorry...I feel like I've been so busy but I am not sure with what.:)

I wanted to share some pictures of the past couple of weeks...

Here is a video of Mike crossing the stage in Oklahoma.:) We are very proud of our Daddy!

Here is Eanna..she was almost as excited to see her babies when she got home as she was to see me.:) She carried them everywhere the first couple of day back from Mema's. Here are our confetti eggs. It's a family tradition to bop whoever's egg you find on their head.:)

Yesterday it stared pouring down rain and hailing and we even heard the tornado alarm going off but then all of a sudden it stop and the clouds left leaving it a beautiful sunny day with perfect rain puddles to play in.:)
