House updates

I woke up a couple of days ago with a sore throat and all achy..I am feeling better but my voice is totally gone still. This morning Bradley woke up not feeling well and with a fever. I hate when my kids are sick! I made him a little bed on my floor and he has been sleeping all morning...so I decided to share some photos..

A few weeks ago when I was at Amber's I realized I had never put pictures of my front room on here..it was the last room to get furniture..and then Mike was trying to show someone a picture of the outside of our home and he couldn't find one..so I thought I'd put some updated pictures of some of the rooms...nothing too exciting...I still have a long way to go until I get everything the way a I want it..but enjoy.:)

This is actually an older pic of the outside..right now that little tree just looks like a twig since all the leaves are gone and the grass is no where that green... My neighbor made this sign..it is in my front room..I love it.:)

This is our front room...there is another shelf on the other side of the big couch
and this is our guest room again..I moved the furniture around in here a couple of times before I liked it.

Bedtime

So every night we have a little bedtime routine..put pj's on, brush teeth, read the scriptures, read two books, say prayer, have family hug and then hop into bed..we do the reading and saying prayer part in Bradley's room so lately when we get to the hop in bed part...Ena jumps into Bradley's bed and tucks herself in and then looks at me like she is trying to say..."Please mom can I sleep with Ba, please!!" So I've given in a couple of times and told her to stay in Bradley's bed or it's straight to her bed. Most nights I've attempted this I hear constant giggling and then Bradley scream out "Mommy, Ena's out of the bed!" so I go and put her in her bed. So when I attempted it again tonight I thought I'd have the same results...but so far I haven't heard anything. I peeked in a couple of mintutes ago and I think Bradley is asleep...Ena was still wiggling but so far still tucked in.:) I think it is so cute! My favorite part of having two kids is seeing how much they love each other! I love seeing Bradley protect and help his little sister. I love seeing Ena crack up at her big brother and screaming the whole way home from dropping him off at preschool..and then hearing the "yea ba!!" the whole way there to pick him up.:) I love being thier mom!

Random

Mike flew to Utah today so I am home alone for the weekend.:( This is when I miss living only 90min. from my mom..it was nice to be able to go visit at times like this.

I am dog sitting for Mike's mom this week. Muffin has been good but I'll be glad to be back to one dog. But the good news is that Mazi finally let me know that she needed to go outside for the first time this week..Yea!! Hopefully she will keep that up...it really makes me like her a lot more.:)

So in other random news..I took my earrings out for the first time when I was at Amber's. For those who don't know...I got my ears pierced for the first time almost 3 years ago but then they got infected so I let them grow back..then my little sister Megan and I went this past May and got our ears pierced again but I've been so afraid to take them out...I finally did it.:) It's getting easier..but now I need to get more earrings!!
