Beauty Shop

Mike took Bradley to the movies today so Ena and I decided to have a girl's day and play beauty shop.:) I dried her hair and curled it and put a little makeup on her. Then she helped dry my hair and brushed it and put my makeup on.:) She even put a head band in my hair so we could match.:) We had a lot of fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so much to be thankful for! I am so grateful for my 3 beautiful kids! I am so glad that baby Brelyn joined our family. I am so thankful for my wonderful parents who took care of my older two and then brought them all the way back home. I am glad they got to spend thanksgiving with us.:)
I am also grateful for a husband that can cook. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner! It was such a nice day with our family!

Ena's New Haircut

Before my mom took the kids home Mike took Ena for a haircut in hopes that it could be evened out a little. She did a pretty good job with what she had to work with.:)

Almost 2 weeks..

Has it really almost been two weeks??
My mom took Bradley and Breanna home with her last friday. It's been nice to spend one on one time with baby Brelyn. She is a really good baby. She is still very sleepy. I love having her in our home.:) I'll be glad to have all my kiddos back home. :)

Here is her birthday story:
I was schedule to come into the hospital at 5am to be induced. I woke up at 3am with contractions. I finally got up at 3:30am and started getting ready. The contractions eased up after I got up and got going. We got to the hospital at 5am and got settled in. My doctor came in around 8:45am and broke my water. I got my epidural soon after that. Everything was going really smoothly and then I started to feel a little pressure with each contraction. I let the nurse know what I was feeling. She checked me and I was at a 7. Just a few minutes later I started to feel a lot more pressure so I let the nurse know again. She decided she would check me and she said I was complete.:) We had to wait about 20 min. for the doctor to come from her office..not a fun 20 min. for me..but once she got there it took one contraction and 3 pushes and little Brelyn made her entrance at 11:19am! We are soooo blessed to have this little spirit in our home. We love her so much! The kids adore her!:)

Coming Home

Bradley and Ena were so excited to welcome Baby Brelyn home! They made a cake and poster and decorated the house with streamers. We were glad to be home too!:)

Friday afternoon while I was in the hospital enjoying my new baby I got a call from Mike. He let me know there was a situation but that no one was hurt and he made sure I knew that this could have happened under anyone's watch..Ena had found a pair of scissors and had given herself a new haircut. The first thing she said when Mike discovered her was "Look Daddy I don't have to push my hair out of my eyes anymore" She was very proud of herself..I just keep telling myself that it will grow..
