I was showing a funny video to Bradley and some of his friends today. The boys were laughing and so Brelyn decided to crawl over and check out what was so funny and then join in..it was too cute.:)

Time Out for Women

I just had an amazing weekend with two of my sisters and my mom. My sisters Abby and Ginger and my mom came here for the weekend to attend Time Out For Women. We learned alot and had a great time being together. We made yummy food and stayed up late talking and were encouraged and reminded who we are by all of the speakers. We missed our sisters that weren't able to come so we'll have to plan another girls weekend soon!Saturday my cousin, Rachel was able to join us. It was so good to see her and catch up!Saturday night we made Thai food...it was interesting but fun to try something different. The kids loved using thier chop sticks. Ginger and I both celebrate birthdays in October so Abby brought us a cookie cake. It was so yummy. Cookie cakes are my favorite!

This past week we went to the pumpkin patch. It was just a small one right here in town but it was a lot of fun and it was free.:) It had a hay maze and a bouncy house and a hayride. The kids had a lot of fun! Since Mike was working late we went with some friends..I think we'll have to take Mike back sometime, though!

Brelyn loves watching the kiddos outside..I know it won't be long until she is out there with them! She can hardly wait!

My Brelyn

So the other night I was putting this cute, sweet, funny baby to bed...she has been a perfect sleeper...I usually rock her for just a few moments give her a binkie and her blanket and lay her down without any fuss. But for some reason this night she started fussing. I waited for a few moments but when she didn't stop I went in to check on her. I picked her up and started rocking her again. She was wide awake but she just cuddled and let me rock her and sing to her. At 10 months old those moments of her letting me just hold her are rare...there is too much to see and do!:) I felt this sweetest peace as I held her..it was one of those special mommy moments that I don't want to forget.:)

I thought I would also add this picture..Brelyn loves loves loves being outside. She loves feeling the grass and getting dirty but she isn't a fan of crawling on her knees when she is on the grass. It is the cutest thing to watch her crawl on her toes.:)

Family Night at the Park

Last night we met Mike at the park for family night. It was so beautiful to watch the sunset as we walked around the pond and fed the ducks. The weather has cooled down this week so everything was perfect.:)

Brelyn wanted to eat the bread at first but she quickly learned how to throw it in the water. She loves animals as long as they are at a good distance from her.:)We saw all sorts of fun things at the park...we saw ducks and lots of fish and some turtles and a bunny and these little guys..crawfish.. The kids loved watching the crawfish dig and swim.

Yes I know that Ena doesn't have any shoes on..her shoes were hurting her feet but at least I had shoes there for her unlike a few weeks ago when we took Brelyn to the doctors for her check up and I didn't notice that Ena didn't have any shoes on until we were at the doctors..that was no fun and a little embarrassing!

Awwww..Ena stopped randomly and gave Brelyn a hug..I love it!:)

School Starts!

School started for Bradley on August 23rd. I can't believe he is in 2nd grade! He is such a good reader. He was ready for school to start...even though it would be nice if summer was a little longer.:)Ena started Preschool the next week. She loves preschool and all her friends there. We are doing 3 days a week this year so she is very excited!!I can't believe this is my last year with her at home. I am going to miss her so much next year when she is off to Kindergarten.
