Bradley turns 6!

Our sweet baby boy turned 6 years old this year! I am so glad that I am his mommy.:) We had a fun day on his birthday. My mom was here with three of Bradley's cousins. We went to a water park and then came home for cake and ice cream.

Bradley's favorite present was from Mike. Mike gave him a little batman toy with a special key inside that went to our shed...

When Bradley first opened the doors he went right pass the batman castle without seeing it.:) He was so excited when he finally did see it.:)

The cake was suppose to be a downtown with the batman spotlight shining over it..but no one could figure it out.:( At least it still tasted good.:)

Kansas

We got to go to Kansas a couple of times this summer. Mike had some work to do up there so we tagged along and got to visit with Mike's parents and my sister Ginger. It was our first time to Ginger's new home in Arkansas. It was really good to visit with her and let our kids play. WE had a picnic and the kids played in a small creek. It was so beautiful there.

At Grandpa's house the kids got to feed the cows and go on a tractor ride and catch fireflies. The kids always enjoy time at Grandpa's house.:)

It took some convincing...

We had discuss waiting to find out what baby Riches #3 would be...we already had a boy and girl so we thought it might be fun to wait...but 9 months is a long time and the closer we got to the ultra sound the more I wanted to know.:) Plus I think it helps you picture having the baby here when you know what they are and have a name for them...I convinced Mike to have a family vote and he was outnumbered so we got to find out.:)

It's a girl!

They said that everything looked great! She is growing perfect and looks beautiful.:) Mike was pretty excited to find out it was a girl..he thought Bradley was going to be a girl and he thought Ena was going to be a boy. With this baby he said from the beginning he thought it was a girl so he was glad to finally be right!

We are really excited to have our little girl join us in November!

Our time with Brandon

We had a great couple of weeks with our nephew Brandon. We had fun looking at pictures and videos and hearing stories from his time in South Africa. While he was here we went to some of our favorite resturants, went to Zero Gravity where he rode "nothin' but net," we went to the temple, played games, and he got to do some work with Mike.

We celebrated our 7th Anniversary while he was here. Brandon was nice enough to bring us breakfast in bed..toast, omelets, hash browns and strawberries.:) Just one more reason why he he is our favorite nephew!

Punta Cana

Mike and I got to spend 5 days in the beautiful country of the Dominic Republic. The beaches were beautiful and the sand was so soft. Our resort was beautiful. On our flight there the airline was so booked that the only seats left were 1st class...so Mike and I got a free upgrade.:) It was really nice...

We stayed in the Moon Palace. It had open in January of this year so it was brand new and beautiful! Everyone was so nice. There was a line of people clapping and welcoming us as we got off the bus.

Mike got to go deep sea fishing with his brother Mark while we were there. They had a lot of fun but no luck catching fish.

After they went fishing they got to go para sailing. They loved it! He said it was beautiful!

The beach is beautiful! We got to walk on the beach at night..I wish I could have taken a picture of it then. It is so peaceful.

We got to spend a lot of time with Mark and Jennifer. We had a lot of fun with them. While the boys went fishing Jennifer and I had a girls day with girl talk and pedicures. It was a lot of fun!

We had fun playing on the beach and swimming in the waves.

This was our last night. We got dressed up and went to the Mexican restaurant..It was my favorite meal and the perfect evening to end our trip.:)

Last Day of School

I can't believe Bradley is done with his first year of school! I was so worried about him starting kindergarten and now it's all done.:( Bradley had a great first year. He absolutely loved his teacher, Mrs. Bell. He made lots of new friends and learned and grew a lot.

Ena and I got to go to his end of the year party. They played games and signed each other's hats and got lots of goodies..

The day school got out we had a slumber party with the boys that live on our street. We carpooled with them all year and the boys have become such good friends..they love being together. We had a lot of fun having them over.

Big 3-0!

Mike celebrated the big 3-0 this year. We had a really fun day together. We went to eat at the club. It is such a beautiful restaurant and it has a great view of Dallas.

They made a special dessert for Mike's birthday. It was soooo yummy!:)

We did some shopping and took care of some things Mike needed to get done. It was fun being able to spend the day together. That night we had ice cream cake and a couple of friends over to celebrate...

We love Mike..he just gets better and better with every birthday!
