Spring Break..The Zoo

We went to the Frank Buck Zoo the Tuesday of Spring Break. We went with a couple other families from our church. We had the best time! The zoo was the perfect size for little kids and the price was just a buck since it was Frank Buck's Birthday!

This picture is for our Mema because she loves deer. She leaves corn in her yard for the deer and then the next morning she will take Bradley and Breanna out to look for deer tracks and to see if the corn is all gone.:)

Ena had no problem making her way passed all the boys to see the animals!

Spring Break

Our Spring Break was a couple of weeks ago..it started out with a visit from my parents and oldest sister, Ginger and her family. They didn't get to stay too long but the time we had together was a lot of fun. The kids had lots of fun playing together..

My mom watched the kids so that Mike and I could go to the temple. While we were there we ran into some of our friends from Louisiana..Jason and Talana Knox. It was so good to see them. We went out to lunch afterwards..I didn't get a picture of them but I did get a picture of Bradley's pizza. He said it looked like Texas.:)

My Kids

I feel so lucky to have such sweet kids..yes they are mischievous and get into everything and make lots of messes..but then they are so sweet you can't help but love them like crazy...like yesterday I was at Bradley's baseball practice..he hit the ball and ran to first base and while he was waiting on first base he looks over at me and yells "I love you" and then when he is all done running the bases he runs over to me to get a drink and says "you're the bestest." It makes me feel so special.:)

Just recently Ena has been calling me her best friend. She'll crawl in my lap and say "mommy you're my best friend and Nana too.":) Mike and I often look at her and then look at each other and say "she's soooo cute!"

Dirty Girl

Yesterday Breanna was playing outside with Bradley and some our next door neighbors. I went to check on them and noticed they had started getting into some mud from when the trees had been watered. I told her to stay away from the mud..and thought that hey it's not too bad it's just her feet..not two minutes later Bradley came in saying Ena had dirt in her eyes..

Trip to Kansas

Mike had some business to do in his home town so we decided to make it a family trip and go visit his parents. We headed up there last Wednesday night and got to spend time with his dad and mom. We had a great time visiting with them.

We spent a couple of days with Harv and Judy while Mike had appointments. Grandpa helped Ena ride her first big bike. She would run into things and turn to me and say "that's OK mommy" with a big smile.:)

Bradley had a fever Thursday morning and so he laid in bed not feeling too well most of the day. So while I was taking care of him Grandpa and Grandma entertained little Ena.:)Before we left I checked the weather so we could be prepared..it had highs in the 50s and one day in the 40s so to our surprise we woke up Saturday morning at Mike's mom's house with 2 inches of snow on the ground and it was still falling. The kids thought it was so cool. So we hung out in our Pj's and ate a warm yummy breakfast.:)I think this picture is sooo cute of Judy's dogs. They posed perfect..even in size order.:)

Saturday afternoon we headed back to Mike's Dad and met my sister Ginger and her family there. Ginger just found out she is pregnant and so I brought her some maternity clothes. It was fun to see her and her family.:)

The kids had fun stacking old yogurt containers and then knocking them down.
Saturday night Mike and I went to the movies. It was 16 degrees outside...ahhhh! I don't handle cold very well so I was pretty sure I was going to freeze to death! It helped to remind me one of the reasons I love living in the south!

We left Sunday afternoon and headed back home...but before we left I had to get this cute picture of Bradley and Grandpa in their matching hoodies.:)

Bradley's Room

I finally finished painting's Bradley's room and put everything back together...I love it! I think it looks a lot more fun and bright. Bradley loves it too.:)

After all the hard work I've put into this room I think he's only slept in there once..he has been getting in bed with Ena everynight...silly boy!

catching up...

It hasn't even been 2 weeks since my last post but there is still so much to catch up on.:) The Friday before Valentine's day Bradley's class had a Valentine party. Me and Ena went to party with him. He loves when we come to his school. They had a lot of fun with crafts and goodies. Mike came for a few seconds and took Ena home with him. I'm grateful Mike has a job that is flexible and allows him to come to little things like this.

Our Valentine's Day started out with pink heart shaped pancakes. When Bradley came down and saw breakfast and his valentine's goodies be said "This is my best Valentine's Day ever!!" That made me feel good.:)

For lunch we went to Kobe's...it's one of those restaurants where they cook the food in front of you. The kids loved every second!

It's the funniest thing when Bradley gets home from school. Mazi jumps on him and wants to be right in his face. They are cute together...

So I know I say this a lot but my kids really do love each other. I am so grateful that they do! They make each other laugh, they worry about each other, they cheer each other on, they don't want the other to be left out...I love love love being their mom!

This week our sweet Ena went to my mom's house to spend time with her cousin Kayden. We are sure missing her! Mike met my dad on his way out of town. I thought I could relax and get a couple projects done while I've been home alone during the day but I planned way too much..I've been sooo busy!

The day before Ena left I took a couple of pictures of her. She was making me laugh. She is so silly...I love her look in this pictures..

One of the projects I've been working on is painting Bradley's room. Bradley asked if he could paint a X on the wall..so I said sure..then he painted a circle around it and put dots in the middle and then informed me that I was to paint around it. So I said that I really loved his X but that I was going to paint over it. So we decided to take a picture and we'll hang it up on the wall.:)

I've really enjoyed my time with Bradley these past couple of days.:) We decided to go on a date Wednesday. As soon as he got home from school he was ready to go! We went to McDonald's and did a little shopping. We had a blast. I hope he always loves going on dates with me.

A few days ago Bradley came home with another book his class had made. When I read what he wanted to be when he grows up I started to cry.:) I am so proud of him and his sweet desire to serve a mission...but I wouldn't mind if the time until then went by really slow!
