It never gets old..

Seeing your baby for the first time is such a fun experience. I love getting to see them and see their little heart beating and to see that everything is ok. It makes it all the more real.:)

We've had a fun couple of weeks so look for more updates soon!

Bluebonnets

I took the kids to get some bluebonnet pictures. The sun was in their eyes and they weren't that excited about being there so I took a couple of pictures as fast as I could and then we headed home. Maybe we'll try again another day.

For some reason they think that tilting their head to the side is how you pose for pictures..

Lady Bugs

Yesterday we had a picnic for dinner. It was the perfect day for a picnic. As we were finishing up we noticed a couple of lady bugs in the clovers..soon we were finding them everywhere! The kids had fun searching for them and letting them crawl on there hands.

April Fool's Day...

..is Mike's favorite holiday. He loves playing jokes. :) I woke up to find this in Bradley's bed..

Mike had waited for me to go to bed the night before and then went in and got Bradley's pj's off and put him in Ena's bed and then stuffed his pj's with towels. He left a little note under the pillow for me..For the past two years we've called our parents on April Fool's Day and told them we were pregnant when we really weren't and they've fallen for it..so this year we planned to do it again except we thought it would be even better since we really are pregnant!! We thought it would be funny to keep them wondering if it was true! Now that they know, I think they are really excited!

I think our new little one is going to be a lot like their dad when it comes to playing tricks on people. The first test I took was negative..a few days later I took another one but the 2nd line was sooo light you could barely see it..the 3rd test was a little darker..so the 4th test we decided to go digital. We watched the hour glass blink until the word "pregnant" came on the screen.:)

We took Bradley and Breanna out for ice cream on Monday night to let them know. Breanna didn't seem to really understand but I don't think I've ever seen Bradley so excited. He said "this is the best day of my life! I can't believe you really have a baby in your tummy! Is your tummy going to be big tomorrow?!?" and my favorite was "your tummy is so little I can't believe there is a baby in there!":) Tonight when he said prayer he said "Thank you Thank you Thank you for the new baby in Mommy's tummy!" He is such a sweet boy! I couldn't have asked for a better reaction. Our new little one will be blessed with the best big brother and big sister!

Bradley's First Game

Bradley's first game was rained out so we had to make it up this Wednesday. It was so much fun to watch! Boys were running the wrong way and confused where to throw the ball and swinging so hard they were falling down.:) Bradley had fun and did a great job! Mike had fun coaching..We were so proud of both our boys!

Ena's Butterflies

I changed Ena's diaper while at the museum..when she stood up so that I could pull her pants up she noticed her butterflies on her cheeks..this was her reaction..

Spring Break..OKC

Mike had to go to Oklahoma City for a work convention so we decided to go with him. He had lots of meetings but got to sneak away for a bit and have some family fun. The first day I took the kiddos swimming at the hotel and then out to McDonald's for lunch and ice cream. That evening Mike joined us at Chuck E. Cheese...which is always fun.:)

The next day I took the kids to the Oklahoma City Science Museum. It was a hands on museum with tons to do. We had so much fun exploring and learning! We even got to go to an explosion show. Bradley loved watching things exploded.:) Ena wasn't much into it...she fell asleep..I don't know how she slept with all that noise.:)

Bradley loved the water..he could stay there all day!

I drew little butterflies on Ena's cheeks..she loved them but got so frustrated that she couldn't see them.:)

This slide was two stories high..so huge!!
Bradley and Ena were running around playing at this tree house play place and I noticed they were holding hands..it was soooo cute.

We met Mike and some of the people he works with for lunch. It was a restaurant overlooking a baseball field. The kids loved sitting by the window and looking down at the baseball field. They thought it was sooo cool.

We had a lot of fun and were glad to be able to go with our Dad. We also got to visit with Mike's mom and step-dad while we were there. It was great to see them. Bradley wore them out by making them take him up and down the elevator a hundred times. It was a glass elevator and he couldn't get enough of it!

Mike and his brother Mark got to train for a part of the convention. They were in front of around 13,000 people! He did a great job! We are so proud of our Dad!!
